A Beauty Haul

It’s been a long time since I’ve done a big beauty post on here, so I thought what better chance to do a beauty haul! I’ve found so many new products recently and I’m excited to show them to you… so without further ado, here are the beauty and skincare products I’ve been using the past couple of months.

monsoon rose gold perfume

First up is my new favourite perfume, ‘Rose Gold’ by Monsoon*. Not only is it incredibly pretty and on-trend; it smells wonderful. Its sparkling lemon, soft fruit and ozonic scents are layered with velvety rose, tuberose, neroli and cyclamen, and underpinned with base notes of Eastern woods, vanilla, mosses, musk and balsamic amber – it’s an absolute dream (and very Instagrammable).

Another perfume I’ve been loving the past month is Love Lily by Accessorize*. This perfume is more fruity and vibrant, it features notes of raspberry, orange, jasmine and sweet vanilla and has a gorgeous flower in the lid – it looks stunning on my dressing table.

I’m also lusting after some fragrances L´Occitane but unfortunately my budget doesn’t stretch that far right now. I’m really keen to try out their new ‘Rose’ range…maybe something to ask for Christmas? Their perfumes are unbelievable so it’s something I’ll definitely be adding to my wishlist!

sleek distorted dreams palette

We all love a good highlight and I really like the light, delicate tones of the Sleep MakeUP Distorted Dreams Highlighting Palette* that I was kindly sent from beauty-haven Just My Look. The palette contains both powder and cream highlighters so you can use it all over your face and body, even your lips! Looovely.

saturated colour make me matte

Shortlisted for the Pure Beauty Awards 2016, the Saturated Colour Make Me Matte* is a lipstick mattifier that will transform any satin or semi-gloss lipstick into a matte one! I’ve never heard of a product like this before, it’s such a good idea! Perfect for winter too – nobody likes getting their hair stuck to their lips. It’s also cruelty free and vegan, so top marks for that.

nakin skincare toner

On to products for the skin, I’ve recently been trying out some products by Nakin Skincare*. I suffer with oily skin and these are good products for mattfiying the skin. My only issue is that my face feels a little funny after using the products so I’ve only been using them before bed. I’ll be interested to see how they rate underneath make up. The products are designed to combat the signs of ageing so to be honest I think my skin just might be a little too young for these products to fit me.

kirakira studio aha facial wash

I’ve heard great things about the AHA 2-in1 Facial Wash*, which comes from Japan. This wonder-product is designed to remove make-up and cleanse, while boasting lots of other benefits such as skin rejuvenation. I really like this product and you can tell they’ve put a lot of thought into it, my only disappointment is that it doesn’t remove my eye-make up very well, though not many cleansers do! Great for the shower.

Have you tried any of these products? I’d love to hear!
