Beauty: Introducing the IPL Hair Removal with Facial Skin Rejuvenation

Panasonic IPL Hair Removal

Shaving your legs can be a serious pain, especially in winter. As I am a fairly lazy person and ideally I’d rather go to a local salon than do things myself, I am always on the hunt for products that make keeping up my beauty regime easier.

This is where IPL Hair Removal by Panasonic comes in. A new product from the electronics giant, the IPL Hair Removal with Facial Skin Rejuvenation system makes removing unwanted hair a breeze. The more you use it, the more hair-free your hair becomes, making the days of every-day shaving a thing of the past (and that includes those nasty ankle cuts!)

Something that has really impressed me is that it can be used literally all over your body, including your face. In just a few minutes, you can safely remove hair from your bikini line, arms, legs and underarms, and with the special facial attachment, you can remove stubborn hair from your face.

How do I use it?

Before using the IPL system it is suggested that you shave beforehand, as then your hair follicles will receive the full effect of the IPL flashes; the process will then remove dead skin cells, giving you glowing skin and a smoother complextion. Over time unwanted hair will become softer and eventually disappear. It doesn’t hurt, it’s easy to use, and it is an incredible way to get smooth, supple, bright and hair-free skin!

Are there any downsides?

The only downside I can see to this product is that it is not suitable for all skin types. If you have pale skin and red hair, for example, then this product is not safe for you to use. This is also applicable if you have very dark skin. For someone like me, with beige skin and dark brown hair, this product is perfectly safe and would work well but it is not suitable for everyone.

The IPL Hair Removal with Facial Skin Rejuvenation is available from Panasonic and costs £349.99, so it’s not a cheap product but maybe ask Santa to treat you this year?

  • I’m really interested in getting one of these myself, but they’re a bit pricey. Have you managed to continue to get good results from it? I have super pale skin, mostly dark hair.. so it sounds like it may work on me.
