The Easy (And Affordable) Way to Hire A Wedding Planner

Let’s face it, as I’ve mentioned before, planning a wedding can be tough. It’s time consuming, stressful and for some couples, it can actually put a dampener on the whole engagement. There are so many different aspects to think about; the photographer, the catering, the dress…not to mention any extras like music, flowers and the cake!

As a wedding blogger, I’m always looking for new ways to help couples plan their wedding, and I’ve found a great new website and app to help you find a wedding planner.

How to plan your wedding with Bidvine

Bidvine is a new tech start up which gives users access to many talented vendors and professionals who work in the weddings industry (along with many other services) in your area. You can either visit the website or download the app, then enter what you’re searching for, for example, ‘wedding planner’ and your location. You’ll be asked a few questions about your requirements so that the project is tailored to you, and then once you’ve sent in your request, Bidvine will be in touch with available professionals who then bid to work for you. Simple!

You can hire a wedding planner to arrange the entire thing if you wish, or you can ask them to plan part of it; it’s your day and they’ll work with your preferences.

Alternatively, you can use Bidvine to hire individual wedding services such as a local photographer, a DJ or a florist. It’s a great way to ensure you’re getting the best service for the right price; as vendors bid for you, you can take time to compare prices and ratings. It’s free to sign up and users are encouraged to leave reviews (whether the experience was positive or negative), so you can read real testimonials from customers.

I’ve been playing around on Bidvine via their website and the app and it seems to be very easy to use. It does charge vendors a small fee to send in bids, but as I mentioned before it’s free for those looking to hire a service. The company covers the whole of the UK, including South Yorkshire and if you download the app onto your phone, you can even arrange your wedding on the go!
