Drink: Greenall’s Original London Dry Gin review

This month I am drinking Greenall’s Original London Dry Gin. I bought this because it was a steal at £10 in the local supermarket, and who am I to resist such a bargain? Greenall’s Gin was first produced way back in 1751, making it a quintessential London spirit. The gin was known for its high quality and was popular with the fashionable London crowd with ‘daily shipments sent down to the capital’ from the distillery in Warrington.

I’d not tried this gin before, usually opting for Gordon’s, or, when I’m lucky, Bombay Sapphire Gin. At £10, I wasn’t expecting much, but I was pleasantly surprised! In my opinion, Greenall’s is much nicer than Gordon’s, and has a delicate, refreshing taste. I have been drinking it with diet tonic, lime juice and a slice of lime.

What are you drinking?
