The Friday Five: 27 November 2015

the friday five

Hi everyone, happy Friday! It’s time for this week’s FRIDAY FIVE, five things I’m loving this week.

My Guest Post

This week I was a guest blogger over at Lola’s Little Wonders, talking about my top five European cities, and the ‘must-do’ place to visit! Pop over and take a look.

Christmas coffee and snacks

It’s finally time for Christmas coffees! As a huge coffee fan (note: not addict) I get extremely excited when the Christmas cups come out and the 3000-calorie salted caramel chocolate extra double sugar coffees come out.

My favourite so far has been the salted caramel cappuccino from Costa, absolute bliss in a cup! I also recently treated myself to a Christmas Crumble which was pretty damn delicious.

The Eve Merton Dream’s Trust

I recently began volunteering for local Doncaster charity The Eve Merton Dream’s Trust, helping out with marketing, social media and events.

The charity is something that I feel very passionate about as it donates the money it raises to help create a dream for a terminally or seriously ill cancer patient in the Doncaster area. The team work so hard and they all fit it in around working full time.

I’ve been to some brilliant events run by Evestrust and I am really looking forward to the upcoming Evening with Ricky Hatton. On Sunday 13th December, Ricky Hatton will be at the Keepmoat Stadium in Doncaster for an evening of comedy, boxing tales, stories and auctions! There’s also a chance to meet Ricky himself. I’m very much looking forward to the three course meal and wine too.

You can still get tickets online, at the Doncaster Rovers ticket office or by calling 01302 762576.

Autumn walks

I love walking in autumn. The leaves, the crisp fresh air, it’s so refreshing. If you’re stuck in an office (or it’s too cold outside) here is a photo of an autumnal scene to imagine yourself in. You’re welcome.

This personality test

I know, I know, a personality test? But hear me out.

This personality test is based on Jung’s 16 personality types and for me, it was scarily accurate. Have a go and let me know what you are!

I’m an INFP.

‘INFP personalities are true idealists, always looking for the hint of good in even the worst of people and events, searching for ways to make things better. While they may be perceived as calm, reserved, or even shy, INFPs have an inner flame and passion that can truly shine. Comprising just 4% of the population, the risk of feeling misunderstood is unfortunately high for the INFP personality type – but when they find like-minded people to spend their time with, the harmony they feel will be a fountain of joy and inspiration.’
