Meadowhall is a popular indoor shopping centre just outside Sheffield and hosts a number of events throughout the year. Perhaps the most exciting of these is Ladies Night, a special evening full of offers, indulgent treats, surprises, entertainment, pampering and beauty, all for us girls!
All of the stores stay open, along with the restaurants and bars, so you can really make an evening out of the event. If you’ve not been before then I highly recommend you go next year, it’s so much fun!
Here’s what I got up to on the night…
Giraffe World Kitchen
We kicked the night off with cocktails at Giraffe World Kitchen, upstairs in the Oasis at Meadowhall. I’ve eaten at Giraffe before but I’d never sampled any of its cocktails, so this was a real treat! My favourite has to be the Cuban Mojito, a refreshing mix of Havana Club 3 Year rum, mint, lime, sugar and soda – a real treat! Giraffe has a happy hour when every cocktail is £5 so I can be pretty certain that I will be going back soon.
After some drinks we headed over to Tapas Revolution, a Spanish tapas bar and restaurant. This was my first time at Tapas Revolution, and after hearing great things from fellow blogger Lucy, I was very excited to get stuck in.
The food at Tapas Revolution is really, really good; I’m a big fan of tapas but this was some of the best I’ve ever had. The sit-down meal also gave us the opportunity to chat, get to know each other and talk blogging; every time I go to a blogging event I’m always blown away by how bloody lovely everyone is, and this group was no exception.
Beauty treatments, pampering and offers
On the night, all throughout Meadowhall are special pop up stations; a pampering section for massages and relaxation, a beauty station for free treatments and consultations with leading beauty experts, a flower wall filled with prizes, a gin bar and so much more.
Unfortunately I didn’t have time to test out many of the treatments, but I’ll definitely be attending the next Ladies Night to experience some more; hopefully you will too.
*Thanks to Meadowhall for their permission to use some of their photos, and for putting on such a great night!*
