If you follow A Literary Cocktail you’ll know that I have been trying out some facial skincare products to help my skin stay hydrated throughout winter. I recently reviewed a hyaluronic acid serum, which has been helping keep my skin moisturised and is one of my nightly staples.
So when I was approached by Oxynergy Paris Skincare to review their new Hyaluronic Acid Face Cream, I thought it would be a great chance to really put hylauronic acid products to the test.
The Oxynergy Paris Hyaluronic Acid Face Cream is a moisturising cream with an incredible texture that penetrates well into the the skin. It contains natural esters & squalene derived from olive oil, providing a “cushion effect”, feeling light and leaving your skin feeling refreshed. Some moisturisers can feel heavy or leave your skin feeling unclean, but this does not.
The face cream works on skin cells to efficiently teat skin dryness. The reason hyaluronic acid is such an effective moisturising ingredient is that it preserves the essential water of the skin cells, keeping the skin hydrated and improving skin elasticity. Basically this product is great for hydration and line reduction, and providing healthy looking skin.
Anyone can use this cream but it is particularly useful for those who are suffering with dry or dehydrated skin (so that’s most of us over the winter then!).
There’s no perfume whatsoever in this product (or the entire range) so it’s also suitable for those with sensitive skin, psoriasis, dermatitis or eczema.
I have found this cream makes my skin feel really soft, and while using it in conjunction with my hyaluronic serum my skin has been feeling, and looking, really healthy.
Oxynergy Paris Hyaluronic Acid Face Cream retails at £44.00 and can be purchased online here.
