Bloody cold isn’t it? If I were you, I’d stay in tonight, curl up with a mug of hot chocolate and have a read of my Friday Five, including some great links to keep you busy!
Here’s the top five things I’ve loved this week…
Feminist Book Club
This week I took part in Cattitude & Co’s Feminist Book Club, where we each read and discussed Not That Kind of Girl: A Young Woman Tells You What She “Learned” by Lena Dunham. Go over and have a read, and if you’ve read the book tell us what you think!
Christmas Shopping (and being generally festive)
I LOVE Christmas shopping. In fact I love any shopping, but Christmas shopping doesn’t come with guilt afterwards when you realise you’re going to be living on ramen noodles until payday. I’ve found some great deals this year and I signed up for a free trial of Amazon Prime which has just made my life (free one-day delivery? YES).
Have you got your Christmas tree up yet? Mines up and I’m really enjoying curling up on the sofa next to it every night 🙂
What is Christmas without Christmas booze? I picked up a bottle of this Roberto Cavalli Limited Edition Disaronno for just £11 at Sainsburys this week and a bottle of Irish Creme for £6.50. Delish!
I’m obsessed with using Pinterest at the moment and I’m finding it so useful for wedding, style and travel inspiration. Do you use Pinterest? Follow me here and send me links to yours – I’d love to find new people to follow.
Ginger Ray goodies
Oh wow, Ginger Ray! This online shop is the best place for stunning vintage and quirky party supplies. Whether you’re planning your wedding, a party, a baby shower or stocking up for a magical Christmas, Ginger Ray’s range is perfect. I would happily buy my entire wedding supply from there.
Until next week!
