Life: What I Got For Christmas

what i got for christmas

I love seeing what everyone else got for Christmas so I thought I’d do a little round-up of my own!

I’ve had a wonderful Christmas this year, including plenty of red wine and far too much cheese. My partner and I held a party for some family on the 23rd, so we got to have a mini Christmas with our nearest-and-dearest. We had food and wine and my sister created a quiz to entertain our guests.

I spent Christmas Eve and Christmas Day at my mum’s; we had a gorgeous dinner and yet more wine! I rounded off Christmas Day in my own house, tired and full with my fiance before we spent a lazy Boxing Day at home.

Now I have a few ‘nothing days’ to enjoy before I go back to work in January, which is absolute bliss! I’m thoroughly enjoying staying in bed until 10am, watching films, catching up on blogs and doing some online shopping (hello sales!). I’ve got a long list of books I want to read so I’m trying to fit some reading time in too!

So apart from wine, cheese and general merriment, what did I get for Christmas?

Joy Division Literary Print in Frame // Cat Coat Door Hanger // Daydreams & Wishful Thinking Notepad // Curiouser and Curiouser Print (homemade) // Happily Ever After Frame (for our upcoming wedding) // Campo Viejo Rioja Wine // Givenchy Live Irresistible Perfume // London Musical Snow Globe // Homemade 1905 style slippers // Blue Valentine Vinyl

This is just a snippet of some of the lovely gifts I was lucky to receive this year. We had a bit of a ‘budget’ Christmas this year, with my sisters and I agreeing to make our presents (although I gave in and ended up buying gifts because I suck at crafting) and my fiance and I chose a budget to stick to as we are getting married next year and saving up for our holidays. I absolutely adore all of my gifts and the Live Irresistible Perfume is my new favourite, it’s so summery, I can see it being my signature scent for the first half of 2016 – for my hen do in Lille and my wedding in July!

Let me know what you got!
